Boomtown
     Dusted Valley Vintners is owned and operated by Chad Johnson and Corey Braunel. They both hail from the great state of Wisconsin.  While attending UW-Stout, Chad and Corey met their future wives, who happened to be sisters.  What do two related, recently married, badger-state couples do upon graduation from Stout?  They move to Washington to start a winery and chase their dreams.

     Dusted Valley Vintners owns an 11 acre vineyard called "Sconni Block" as a nod to their home state.  Purchased fruit provides the rest of their needs.  Later in the year we'll be introducing the actual "Dusted Valley" label, but for an early start we're introducing Dusted Valley's second label "Boomtown."

     The entire Boomtown line carries the Columbia Valley AVA, and includes an unoaked Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, and Syrah.  While the Wisconsin connection is nice, I'm most impressed by the quality of what's in the bottle.  There's a purity and balance which really over-performs for the price point.  Taste them and see for yourself.
